Twice a year BLFM sponsors a medical outreach in one of the villages in Aztec country. Because of the great need and limited supply of services available, these have proven to be a very effective tool in opening doors to unreached villages.

Working in conjunction with national doctors and local village leaders, these medical clinics bring together general medical practitioners, dentists, ophthalmologists, chiropractors, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, nurses and translators to share the love of Christ at no cost to the patient. One villager asked, "How much did you have to pay these doctors to come?" The reply was met with disbelief when we told them, "No, you don't understand, they have paid to be here." Typically, the lines are long and the villagers are very patient. An evangelistic team will minister during the clinic in hopes of bringing healing to the soul as well as to the body.
