We welcome the opportunity to work together with you as a financial partner in sharing the Good News with those who have not yet heard and helping to plant churches in the interior of Mexico. Here are some of the ways to partner:
Assist a church planter. A national church planter can be supported for approximately $100/month. BLFM has monthly commitments to church planters of approximately $1,500. Other church planters are being trained and readied to work in new villages as God opens doors.
Assist BLFM in buying medicines for the medical/evangelical outreaches. Twice a year, BLFM sponsors a medical clinic in one of the Aztec villages. The medical, dental, chiropractic & ophthalmologic services are provided at no cost to the villagers by those who have a passion to share the love of Christ. But the cost of medicines to sponsor such a clinic costs BLFM about $2,000 per clinic.
Assist our medical missionary. Dr. Alberto Canche has committed his life to reaching out to the Aztec villages to treat the many diseases of the eye that result from parasites and polluted water supply. In his position, Dr. Canche helps identify those villages that would be open to a medical/evangelistic outreach and assists in permitting those clinics with the governing authorities. BLFM is committed to helping Dr. Canche on a monthly basis and assisting him in acquiring the tools he needs to minister effectively.
Assist BLFM in acquiring Bibles and study materials to be used in the new church plants. With the average daily wage of the villagers at about $2 per day (if the work can be found) there is little capital available for the acquisition of resource materials to conduct the teaching ministry.
Assist with the on-going training of existing church planters. Approximately once a month, Pastor Juan Roque travels to the existing church plants to train and encourage through study those laboring in existing church plants. Gasoline in Mexico runs about $2.70 per gallon. The cost of each monthly run totals approximately $500.
Assist with the new land development and pastor training center in Matamoros. A new church building, dormitories, classrooms, pastor's house are under construction. Thanks to the talents and generosity of many in the body of Christ on both sides of the border, the labor is provided without cost. But BLFM is assisting in the purchase of materials and resources to outfit this ministry. BLFM is debt-free and our policy is to build only as we have the funds to go forward.

Assist in bringing the pastors, church planters and leaders to Matamoros for 2 weeks of training. While some villages are only separated by a few miles as the crow flies, it could take several hours to get there. We experimented with bringing a group of leaders to Matamoros. It was a great success. The trainers are here, the resources are here and the church in Matamoros was willing to send members from its church to "pinch hit" while the leaders from village churches were away. The cost of materials, food and transportation for the 40 leaders that came last year totaled $5,000. We are hoping for more leaders to participate this summer.
