Dear Partners:
As I sit here and reflect on the ministry this past year, I am constantly reminded of God’s faithfulness and His great love for all. His graciousness has been evident this past year in:
The new church plants that have opened up to the ministry in 2004-Chichatla, Totonicapa, Tenexco, Xalpa;
The passion of our ministry partners to assist in construction projects both in Matamoros and in the interior;
The hunger of the villagers for a message of Hope;
The outreach partners He has blessed us with, including those who go and those who enable others to go;
Allowing the vision of Don Albrecht to empower the nationals to pass on the Bread of Life to continue;
The prayer partners who sustain us and plead His cause;
and The response of those who have never heard to the Good News of His great love.
Thank you for your prayers and support to allow us to continue to share God’s love with the “forgotten peoples” of Mexico, the Aztecs. We have encountered resistance, and yet through prayer, hearts were changed. We have experienced first hand God melting hearts from those who stayed away to those who showered us with flowers, wreaths and gifts of love and appreciation. We see the ongoing need in each of the village the faces of those who need a word of encouragement and hope to make it through the struggle of each day. We have witnessed the passion of those who go down there a desire to do just a little bit more to share His love.
And this year, I have really been blessed by my study partner and friend, Gerry Beauchemin. He has modeled God’s love and challenged me to have a much bigger view of what God is doing. His untiring devotion to share His love with each person he ministers inspires me to want to know more of Him and do more for Him.
I am thankful for so many who labor quietly to get the job done and always say goodbye with a look of longing to come back for more.
I am thankful for the friendships he has nurtured through this ministry: Don, Richard, Ray, Michael, Oscar, Juan & Phil.
I am thankful that God has allowed the website to become a greater tool in our efforts to communicate.
I am thankful for Juan Roque and his passion and desire to walk humbly before the Lord and share His love with so many.
I am thankful for my friend and wife, Rose Anne, for her constant support and encouragement and to my sons-Eric, Trevor and Chad. May you all grow up with an awareness and appreciation of God’s measureless love for you.
And I am thankful for you and how God has placed it in your heart to be a part of this ministry. May God richly bless you and may His light shine forth in all we do for His glory in the coming year.
Dios les bendigan, David Nuckols
